My name is Anne. I’ve been running consistently for almost five years, after the birth of my second child. Although I ran in high school, and some in college, I never considered myself a runner until then. I ran my first and second half marathons in 2009 with Team in Training and was hooked. I’ve run through a pregnancy, ran a half marathon when my youngest was 6 months old, and have continued to feed the addiction while working, raising my three boys, and being the best wife I can be.
I’m training for my first marathon in June 2012, and I started this blog to document my journey.
I love comments, and I try to reply to them all!

OK, what did I miss?! I’m not sure why I’m just now figuring out that you’ve started this blog but I’m so glad I did. I really enjoy your writing and hearing about this journey. I wish so much that my feet and back would hold up to higher distances, but I just have to be happy with what I can do and live vicariously through others. Thanks for sharing your ride 🙂

Thanks, Sara! I didn’t want to make a big production out of starting the blog, I thought I’d see how it went for a while and go from there. I’m really enjoying it so far.
